Position Overview

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Carpenter will work closely with insurance professionals, businesses and home owners to ensure property is restored quickly, efficiently, and with care.

Responsibilities

Full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work
Maintenance and repair
Window and door board ups
Installation of facets, toilets, sinks.
Simple electrical work such as reset of light fixtures
Installation of baseboards, cabinets, casings doors
Installation of drywall (boarding and taping)
Paint touch ups and finishing work
Experience in textured ceilings
Suspended ceiling installation
Assemble of client furniture
Tiling
Installation of counter tops
Blinds installation
Framing
Texturing
Drywall

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience working in commercial, residential, industrial setting
Valid class 5 driver’s license and acceptable, recent drivers abstract
Undergo a Criminal Reference Check
Steel Toe boots
Own tools
