ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Coordinator that will provide high level administrative assistance and support to the Project Manager to ensure each claim is completed as specified by the insurance company.
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring estimates from sub-trades.
- Completing estimates for each claim including sketches, determining line items and costs.
- Aiding with accounts receivable collections on files as required.
- Collecting work Authorizations and Completion Certificates.
- Scheduling appointments for subs-trades, shop staff and Project Managers to ensure work is completed.
- High volumes of data entry to update and manage internal and external databases which includes Encircle and Xactanaylsis.
- Reception coverage when required.
- Flexible to work overtime (including evenings and weekends) as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized self-starter who can work independently.
- Ability to effectively communicate both in verbal and written form.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure and tight timelines.
- Ability to prioritize and meet all assigned timelines.
- Efficiently multi-task job planning, execute decisions and problem solve complex tasks.
- Effectively work with customers, adjusters, sub-contractors and employees at all levels of the organization
- Business Administration Diploma, Project Management Certification, or related certificate is an asset
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel. Certification in Advanced Excel will be considered an asset
- A solid understanding of the accounting billing cycle
- Clear understanding of construction terminology will be considered an asset
- Previous work in the insurance industry, construction, restoration or mechanical industry is a definite asset
